Jairo Criston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Santiago having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Humberto Santio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 14 minutes into the game, Trampa AFC's Humberto Santio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 22nd minute Guaberto Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Sergi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Clodoveo Sugar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Sergi skillfully saved the ball. Humberto Santio in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolas Santiago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicolas Santiago came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Trampa AFC's Humberto Santio. But to his dismay, Humberto Santio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 31st minute, Maximiliano Che left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hannover 1985 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jairo Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nicolas Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Santio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Nicolas Santiago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Jairo Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Santio to make the kick off. Maximiliano Che kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Santo Llanos made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Santiago. Hannover 1985's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Che kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Sergi. That made the score 3-2 in the 72 minute of play. The long shot by Clodoveo Sugar in the 77th minute really tested Manuel Sergi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Humberto Santio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trampa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Santio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Santiago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trampa AFC's Manuel Sergi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Trampa AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute of the match, Valentin Dodorol got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manuel Sergi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Astor Handi charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Astor Handi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Astor Handi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Abechuco missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nicolas Santiago right hand side. Nicolas Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Criston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trampa AFC's Jairo Criston got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Trampa AFC had played much better football throughout.
