After having played for 3 minutes, Celso Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Cicloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conrado Hug came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by La Cicloneta's Arnoldo Santo. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Santo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arnoldo Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malleo AFC's Conrado Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Santo in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute Epifanio Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Argider hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Godofredo Fertus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malleo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Cicloneta the free kick. After a rather tough play, Malleo AFC's Godofredo Fertus got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Malleo AFC defense, Epifanio Montrel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Hug. The Malleo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Hug should have stopped the shot. Rene Herensuge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Figueroa in the 33rd minute of play. Malleo AFC's Adan Veremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adan Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Herensuge having to interfere. After 40 played minutes La Cicloneta got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Austin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnoldo Santo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Cicloneta getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arnoldo Santo hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Santo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Veremundo in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Herensuge saved La Cicloneta from getting behind. Conrado Hug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Montrel in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ramon Guerau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Herensuge was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Guerau in the 66th minute of play forced La Cicloneta's goalkeeper Rene Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Conrado Hug made a huge save. Celso Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Conrado Hug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Cicloneta's Rene Herensuge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Guerau in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Ramon Guerau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Herensuge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rene Herensuge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Guerau in the 75th minute of the match. If Arnoldo Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Hug made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Santo in the 87th minute. Arnoldo Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Conrado Hug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Santo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Conrado Hug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Cicloneta. La Cicloneta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
