The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Montrel got free with Maximino Mingo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dionisio Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Duardo in the 18th minute of play forced Chivilcoy's goalkeeper Alvaro Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami FC's Gervasio Quintun got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Haroldo Loi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Gervasio Quintun made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Hernando. Chivilcoy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Inter Miami FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Argider came free, but Maximino Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Rivas struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Alvaro Hernando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami FC. Alvaro Hernando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Rivas's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Inter Miami FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Urbano Montrel 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Dionisio Duardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Hernando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Maximino Mingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes Inter Miami FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Generoso Manuelo who took care of the corner kick. Chivilcoy's Generoso Manuelo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximino Mingo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Urbano Montrel made the kick off in the second half. Romeo Rivass short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Alvaro Hernando to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 56 played minutes Chivilcoy got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Argider. If Camilo Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romeo Rivas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Hernando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Freddy Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Mingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Haroldo Loi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 78 minutes, Erubiel Oliverios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Miami FC and the Chivilcoy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chivilcoy booed when Inter Miami FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Oliverios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Generoso Manuelo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximino Mingo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Quintun got free with Alvaro Hernando in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Chivilcoy's Alvaro Hernando got control of the ball when Dionisio Duardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Chivilcoy's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Rivas came free, but Alvaro Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inter Miami FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
