Maximino Mingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Honorio Viviano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximino Mingo. Inter Miami FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Viviano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 17th minute Ambrosio Admon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximino Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Admon in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Quintun got free with Joaquin Hernando in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximino Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Admon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Filiberto Inguma made a precise shot to the right of Maximino Mingo. Inter Miami FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 36th minute, Prospero Etxatxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Hernando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Dionisio Duardo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 40 played minutes Romeo Rivas rounded Rumios's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. Inter Miami FC were furious when Victoriano Gipuzkoa was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The Inter Miami FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rumios were winning 2-5.

The wind increased when Filiberto Inguma made the kick off in the second half. If Dionisio Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Viviano kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Erubiel Oliverios charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Oliverios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami FC's Erubiel Oliverios got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Ovidio Mikelats sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Inter Miami FC's Maximino Mingo didn't even have to move. Maximino Mingo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Admon in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rumios's zone, Basilio Inge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Hernando came out of the goal and Basilio Inge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Honorio Viviano took a quick shot and it went in 3-6 without a chance for Maximino Mingo to make any attempt to save it. In the 83rd minute, Gervasio Quintun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Gervasio Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Miami FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Quintun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Hernando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Inter Miami FC booed when Rumios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Kinsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Dionisio Duardo made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Hernando. Rumios's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-6. When the final whistle went the supporters of Rumios were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Inter Miami FC side.
