Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Estacas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Nayely came free, but Benjamin Gaufred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Gaufred was a little too slow when Paolo Nayely got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Anier Abreu struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Osvaldo Paulin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estacas FC. Benjamin Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Nayely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Ariel Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Tulio in the 26th minute of play forced Sporting Club FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club FC's Hector Claude got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Jairo Calixto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Anier Abreu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Sporting Club FC's Osvaldo Paulin. Osvaldo Paulin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ariel Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Paulin having to interfere. In the 45th minute Teodoro Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Nayely to make the kick off. When Ariel Tulio came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Estacas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Tulio couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Severino Macerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Teodoro Bermudez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osvaldo Paulin. The goal made the score 2-2. Anier Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Paulin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Sporting Club FC's Paolo Nayely nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Gaufred made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Ariel Tulio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Osvaldo Paulin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Ariel Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Paolo Nayely had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Gaufred. Estacas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Nayely was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. 91 minutes into the match, Sporting Club FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Paulin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Tulio. The Sporting Club FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
