Eleuterio Frutos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Osvaldo Paulin came out and tried to block the shot, but Eleuterio Frutos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Leonardo Ilixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Wallach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Porvenir Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Tallia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Monte during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, one of Sporting Club FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sporting Club FC. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Porvenir Talleres's Ignacy Tepper got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Osvaldo Paulin. Fabricio Gabon hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ignacy Tepper kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Sporting Club FC's Rosendo Xabat broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Osvaldo Paulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Frutos in the 30th minute of the match. Eleuterio Frutos scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Paulin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severino Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gilbert Wallach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Nayely struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gilbert Wallach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Club FC. Severino Macerio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilbert Wallach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Severino Macerio struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Gilbert Wallach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Club FC. Ovidio Ipar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Paulin made a huge save. Ovidio Ipars short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Osvaldo Paulin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paolo Nayely made a kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Club FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Paulin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ramon Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Ipar in the 66th minute of play forced Sporting Club FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Paolo Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Club FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Nayely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Wallach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilbert Wallach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Nayely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Porvenir Talleres's zone, Paolo Nayely stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Wallach came out of the goal and Paolo Nayely tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Porvenir Talleres getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ignacy Tepper hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Gilbert Wallach successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Porvenir Talleres's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ignacy Tepper in the 93rd minute. A very nice done corner allowed Ovidio Ipar to score against Osvaldo Paulin in Sporting Club FC's goal. 4-0 after 94 minutes. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Porvenir Talleres fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sporting Club FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
