VILLA ZAPIOLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Ur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erubiel Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Iraido having to interfere. VILLA ZAPIOLA's Andri Kirsipuu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Teyo in the 14th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Honorio Dominguez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Iraido. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. VILLA ZAPIOLA's Andri Kirsipuu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Teyo in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, VILLA ZAPIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Gimenez to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rdth minute of the game Herminio Cortez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VILLA ZAPIOLA's Andri Kirsipuu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Herminio Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Ur got free with Cornelio Iraido in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cornelio Iraido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Ur in the 33rd minute. Buchanan's Cornelio Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Dominguez in the 34th minute of play. Cornelio Iraido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Buchanan's goalkeeper Cornelio Iraido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erubiel Ur. If Honorio Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, VILLA ZAPIOLA's Erubiel Ur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Iraido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
58 minutes into the game, Buchanan's Herminio Cortez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andri Kirsipuu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 62nd match minute, Buchanan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Rik to maneuver through the defense. Buchanan's Cornelio Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Ur in the 64th minute of play. Andri Kirsipuu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Teyo in the 69th minute of the match. When Flavio Ixidor came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the VILLA ZAPIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Ixidor couldn't finish the play. Benicio Gimenez's late challenge caught a Buchanan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Gimenez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to VILLA ZAPIOLA getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Benicio Gimenez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Buchanan's zone, Erubiel Ur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Iraido came out of the goal and Erubiel Ur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Honorio Dominguez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Iraido. Buchanan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Dominguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 93 minutes into the match, VILLA ZAPIOLA's Erubiel Ur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Iraido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that VILLA ZAPIOLA were the better team. VILLA ZAPIOLA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
