Leo Nesor ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Cecilio Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botafogo FR's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Gora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olaf Dziurowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Perpinya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Hermelando having to interfere. Olaf Dziurowicz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernando Damario. Cecilio Gora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Dziurowicz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Urbez during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Sportivo Balnearia reached it. Botafogo FR's Emanuel Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Sportivo Balnearia's Olaf Dziurowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Mosen in the 32nd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Henry Stock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Hermelando. Botafogo FR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Stock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Henry Stock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Hermelando having to interfere. Fernando Damario came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olaf Dziurowicz could save by the left post. Marco Urbez hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Club Sportivo Balnearia's Apolo Rodriguez tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Botafogo FR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Sportivo Balnearia were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henry Stock to strike the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Perpinya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Hermelando having to interfere. Henry Stock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Hermelando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Cayetano Perpinya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Henry Stock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Club Sportivo Balnearia booed when Botafogo FR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Mosen in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Sportivo Balnearia's goalkeeper Olaf Dziurowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Hermelando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Stock in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Fernando Damario made a precise shot to the right of Olaf Dziurowicz. Club Sportivo Balnearia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Cayetano Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Club Sportivo Balnearia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
