Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis Baumer started the match with the kick off. Humberto James showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Sabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Eustaquio Esquipula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto James having to interfere. When Ruben Justin came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Resolana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Justin couldn't finish the play. After 14 minutes, Eliseo Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranquilcó and the Resolana players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Eliseo Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th match minute, Ranquilcó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Cilio to maneuver through the defense. Luis Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Tingelholm having to interfere. Ruben Justin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kenneth Tingelholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustaquio Esquipula's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Humberto James skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ruben Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Sabino in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto James saved Resolana from getting behind. The supporters of Ranquilcó booed when Resolana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Matteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luis Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Eliseo Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Justin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kenneth Tingelholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Tingelholm came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Resolana's Ruben Justin. But to his dismay, Ruben Justin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Placido Sabino made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Carlos Matthew mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resolana and the Ranquilcó players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Resolana got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Matthew. Humberto James took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eustaquio Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Luis Baumer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenneth Tingelholm. Luis Baumer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Ranquilcó's Placido Sabino got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eustaquio Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Baumer struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Kenneth Tingelholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resolana. If Ruben Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Toro's late challenge caught a Resolana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Toro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Silvano Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvano Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, Resolana's Carlos Matthew shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kenneth Tingelholm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Resolana reached it. Eliseo Pirro's late challenge caught a Ranquilcó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Pirro helped the player get up and apologised. Eliseo Pirro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ruben Justin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kenneth Tingelholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Tingelholm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Justin in the 87th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Placido Sabino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Humberto James was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruben Justins short, quick shot in the 99thth minute got Kenneth Tingelholm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Resolana supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Resolana would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
