Canillera Floja's Celestino Oinaz got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Celestino Oinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Quinito was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Saverio Quinito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Alfredo Jobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bermejo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Jobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Canillera Floja's Jaime Belmiro suffered a concussion in the 18th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 18 minutes, Ramon Unai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bermejo and the Canillera Floja players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bermejo's Ramon Unai got a free kick in the 18th minute. Leonel Abadie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rusty Coldicutt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 26 played minutes Bermejo got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Unai. In the 28th minute, Artemio Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Canillera Floja's Victor Luix got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Olentzaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Luix in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Bermejo's Leonel Abadie threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adolfo Firmo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Leonel Abadie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 61 minutes into the match, Adolfo Firmo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Canillera Floja's Leonel Abadie. Leonel Abadie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonel Abadie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Firmo went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Victor Luix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Olentzaro having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Rusty Coldicutt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Olentzaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Luix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Adolfo Firmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Abadie. Canillera Floja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Firmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Celestino Oinaz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Gaudencio Fagildo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Bermejo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Fagildo couldn't finish the play. Artemio Rico charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Rico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artemio Rico hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Victor Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Canillera Floja's Celestino Oinaz got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bermejo had won after a very even match.
