Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Remir kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Emilio Chesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Refugio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cipriano Mateo. Corbett's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Refugio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, El Bicho's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Chesus came free, but Jose Quin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Refugio in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Mateo saved Corbett from getting behind. Roque Illan in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jose Quin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 26th minute, Higinio Remir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roque Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jose Quin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Higinio Remir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Mateo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Higinio Remir notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Corbett's Cipriano Mateo. Cipriano Mateo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Alejo Bertol put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Corbett getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alejo Bertol hit a great ball. The Corbett players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Bicho were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Roque Illan made the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Mateo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. If Roque Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roque Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corbett's Cipriano Mateo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Corbett from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Corbett's goalkeeper Cipriano Mateo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Jurgi. If Roque Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, El Bicho's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Gelmiro came free, but Jose Quin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Mateo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Jerardo in the 87th minute of the match. Marco Luzea hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ruperto Furtado hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Ciro Meazza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cipriano Mateo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Botello in the 94th minute of play forced Corbett's goalkeeper Cipriano Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The El Bicho supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Bicho would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
