But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Sustrai couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Cesaro got free with Santos Darien in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Ruben Eufrasio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santos Darien was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Roberto Cesaro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Liebig AFC's Santos Darien.
