Ciro Maxin's late challenge caught a Golpes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Maxin helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 8 minutes, Ramon Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golpes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Chale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imperio Galáctico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golpes the free kick. The supporters of Golpes booed when Imperio Galáctico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Chale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Chaime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Cordeiro in the 11th minute of the match. Ramon Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Cucao got free with Hermengildo Chaime in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Golpes getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Carlitos Marchese hit a great ball. Basilio Raulo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Lucio Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperio Galáctico FC. Ciro Maxin kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Imperio Galáctico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Cordeiro came free, but Hermengildo Chaime reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ramon Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golpes's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Chaime breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermegildo Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Valente having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Golpes's Ramon Cordeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 46 minutes, Honorato Honesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio Galáctico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Honesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Orlanda made a kick off. Ramon Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Chaime having to interfere. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golpes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basilio Raulo was slow to take the kick. During this time Imperio Galáctico FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Honorato Honesto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Golpes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Octavio Orlanda scored to the left of an out of position Lucio Valente, making the score, 1-1. The supporters of Imperio Galáctico FC booed when Golpes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Rosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golpes's goalkeeper Lucio Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Imperio Galáctico FC's Hermengildo Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Cucao in the 67th minute of play. Ermegildo Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Valente having to interfere. In the 77th minute Edgard Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Chaime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Ponc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Chaime having to interfere. Imperio Galáctico FC's Hermengildo Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Perfecto in the 83rd minute of play. Lucio Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Jakes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Hermengildo Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Valente having to interfere. Imperio Galáctico FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Golpes had won, even though Imperio Galáctico FC had held more of the ball.
