With splendid footwork Amado Inautzi arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 15th minute. Venancio Flores lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Esquel FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pinto:s goal. Fermin Constancio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ulises Sesuldo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Moises Isidor charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Isidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulises Sesuldo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Generoso Rutenio. In the 30th minute, Esquel FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amado Inautzi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Amado Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrosio Quiroga charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ambrosio Quiroga made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Esquel FC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Isidor. Generoso Rutenio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulises Sesuldo. Esquel FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Amado Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Esquel FC defense, Amado Inautzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulises Sesuldo. The Esquel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Sesuldo should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ambrosio Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 minutes Esquel FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Generoso Rutenio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Pinto's corner Generoso Rutenio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ulises Sesuldo quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Constancio in the 71st minute of play forced Esquel FC's goalkeeper Ulises Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Fanuco hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Esquel FC's Baltasar Fanuco got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ulises Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pinto's Claudio Pedroso got control of the ball when Ambrosio Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Amado Inautzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Sesuldo was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Pinto's goalkeeper Claudio Pedroso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Quiroga. If Amado Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. Esquel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fermin Constancio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Pinto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
