Fermin Constancio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Quirze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Fermin Constancio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Constancio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Nestor Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Sapere's Aquilino Erdiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 30thth minute of the game Amado Inautzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sapere's Silvano Quirze was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st match minute, Pinto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Constancio to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Constancio took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvano Quirze. Silvano Quirze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Fermin Constancio came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Pinto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Constancio couldn't finish the play. Fermin Constancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Inautzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Pinto's Amado Inautzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Quirze narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudio Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Patrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Fermin Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Silvano Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Sapere's Aquilino Erdiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Pedroso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvano Quirze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Constancio's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Guido Sandaili blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Pedroso having to make a save. Amado Inautzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Silvano Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sapere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Fermin Constancio scored to the left of an out of position Silvano Quirze, making the score, 1-2. In the 81st minute, Amado Inautzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fermin Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Silvano Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sapere's goalkeeper Silvano Quirze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amado Inautzi struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Silvano Quirze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinto. When the match was over Pinto could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sapere throughout the match.
