Urbano Jusepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Oriol in the 10th minute of the match. Melchor Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes, Providencia AFC's Hernan Checa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Urbano Jusepe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Providencia AFC reached it. Providencia AFC's Baltasar Iraitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Providencia AFC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Mercedes's Feliciano Luzea got a free kick in the 28th minute. Providencia AFC's Genaro Ticho got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urbano Jusepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Hever in the 32nd minute of play. Mercedes's Urbano Jusepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Oriol in the 35th minute of play. Urbano Jusepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Oriol in the 37th minute of play. With his leg Baltasar Iraitz managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Mercedes's Higinio Manni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Urbano Jusepe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Oriol went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Genaro Ticho made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Genaro Ticho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Urbano Jusepe. The goal made the score 0-2. Samuel Gervaso lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mercedes! A hard shot 66 in the game by Hernan Checa from a close distance when the talented Urbano Jusepe managed to make a qualified save. Mercedes's players were relieved. Urbano Jusepe made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Benito Oriol sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Benito Oriol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mercedes booed when Providencia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes Providencia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Guillerme. 78 minutes into the match, Hernan Checa notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Mercedes's Urbano Jusepe. Urbano Jusepe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Emanuel Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Hever in the 88th minute of play forced Mercedes's goalkeeper Urbano Jusepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Jusepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Ticho in the 90th minute of play. Hernan Checa struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Urbano Jusepe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Providencia AFC. Urbano Jusepe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Oriol in the 94th minute. Providencia AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
