In the 9thth minute of the game Fulgencio Suarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maipú's Danilo Dominguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Leoiar scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Dominguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Suarez in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Dominguez saved Maipú from getting behind. Maipú's Danilo Dominguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Suarez in the 24th minute of play. If Mauricio Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulgencio Suarez in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Dominguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maipú's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danilo Harkaitz was slow to take the kick. During this time Talleres de Cba's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Danilo Harkaitz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Maipú's Danilo Dominguez did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Danilo Dominguez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Talleres de Cba's Fulgencio Suarez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Santiago Leoiar struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Danilo Dominguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres de Cba. 82 minutes into the match, Alejo Bihar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorio Eutropio. Talleres de Cba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejo Bihar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After a rather tough play, Maipú's Pedro Deunoro got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Fulgencio Suarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maipú's Danilo Dominguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Leoiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Suarez in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Talleres de Cba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maipú throughout the match.
