In the 14th minute, Julian Vachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Vellito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Domiku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Argenis in the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Julian Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Vachon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Leo Mitxel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Teofilo Benitez. 35 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Olcaha's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Mitxel came free, but Teofilo Benitez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Mitxel in the 42nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Olcaha's goalkeeper Teofilo Benitez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Olimpo FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
