In the 3rd minute, Filomeno Gauargi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Venerando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7th match minute, Castellino Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Calixto to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Fonso struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Arnaldo Ferdinand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Hofmann. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Hofmann's Damian Cebo got a free kick in the 12th minute. Raul Cerilo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Gerardo Derwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Derwin got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Arnaldo Ferdinand handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Gerardo Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hipolito Iyan's late challenge caught a Castellino Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Iyan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Castellino Futbol Club getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Edelmiro Perez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Hofmann's zone, Tomás Mincho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Venerando came out of the goal and Tomás Mincho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Castellino Futbol Club's Tomás Mincho in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Hofmann's goalie prevented a goal. Deportivo Hofmann's Natalio Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Gilesindo in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Hipolito Iyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Mincho in the 40th minute of play forced Deportivo Hofmann's goalkeeper Natalio Venerando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Castellino Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Derwin came free, but Arnaldo Ferdinand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Gerardo Derwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castellino Futbol Club's Arnaldo Ferdinand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Fonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Castellino Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Iyan came free, but Arnaldo Ferdinand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Enrique Gilesindo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natalio Venerando. That made the score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. Enrique Gilesindo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Natalio Venerando came out and tried to block the shot, but Enrique Gilesindo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Deportivo Hofmann's Gerardo Derwin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnaldo Ferdinand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Castellino Futbol Club's Arnaldo Ferdinand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Fonso in the 80th minute of play. Gerardo Derwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Arnaldo Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Hofmann's Pankracy Hryc was substituted for Gerardo Derwin. If Arturo Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pankracy Hryc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Ferdinand having to make a save. Candido Honesto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Ferdinand having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Hofmann's Hipolito Iyan got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Tomás Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Castellino Futbol Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
