Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucas Haitz started the match with the kick off. Carlos Vasconcelos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Orlan in the 3rd minute. Humberto Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Román Cardona in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Andres Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Fortin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Elizardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes of play, El Fortin's Román Cardona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Tavio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Román Cardona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Tavio having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Román Cardona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Humberto Tavio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, El Fortin's Carlos Vasconcelos got control of the ball when Celedonio Kepa tried to sneak it across the goal line. El Fortin's Manuel Calvet got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Haitz in the 34th minute of play forced El Fortin's goalkeeper Carlos Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tandil Galaxy FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after El Fortin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horacio Xabel took the corner. Horacio Xabel made a great header on Tandil Galaxy FC's corner, it was just that El Fortin's Carlos Vasconcelos managed to reach the ball for a save. Andres Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tandil Galaxy FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mario Fernandes hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, El Fortin's Jaime Herauso tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 44 minutes, Truylos Huerta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Fortin and the Tandil Galaxy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes El Fortin got a freekick which was hit by Truylos Huerta. 48 minutes into the game, Tandil Galaxy FC's Faustino Orlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Vasconcelos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Román Cardona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Andres Elizardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Román Cardona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. El Fortin's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Tandil Galaxy FC defense, Andres Elizardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Tavio. The Tandil Galaxy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Tavio should have stopped the shot. After 65 minutes, Justo Weather mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tandil Galaxy FC and the El Fortin players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tandil Galaxy FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Justo Weather hit a great ball. When Domingos Chale fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tandil Galaxy FC's protests and gave Domingos Chale a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Domingos Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Truylos Huerta got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, El Fortin's Truylos Huerta got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Carlos Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Haitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Andres Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute, El Fortin's Andres Elizardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Jeronimo Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Humberto Tavio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Fortin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
