Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Eriberto Izotz made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd match minute, Verónica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Silviano to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Nicholas during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to APOCOLOCYNTOSIS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Eduardo Nicholas hit a great ball. When Eriberto Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Verónica FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Izotz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Verónica FC's Pastor Valiente got a free kick in the 11th minute. After recieving a nice pass, APOCOLOCYNTOSIS's Christian Chumo tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Epifanio Olo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Tohias in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute, David Vincent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Verónica FC's Eriberto Izotz in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye APOCOLOCYNTOSIS's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Verónica FC's Epifanio Olo got control of the ball when Rolando Tohias tried to sneak it across the goal line. APOCOLOCYNTOSIS's Paulino Fortun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Izotz in the 37th minute of play. Rolando Tohias struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Epifanio Olo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for APOCOLOCYNTOSIS. 40 minutes into the match, Eduardo Nicholas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Epifanio Olo, 1-1. Rolando Tohias took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Olo. Epifanio Olo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Fernando Lohitzun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Epifanio Olo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Lohitzun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Tohias in the 52nd minute of play forced Verónica FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Olo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Verónica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Tohias came free, but Epifanio Olo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verónica FC's Epifanio Olo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Lohitzun in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Verónica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Lohitzun came free, but Epifanio Olo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Fortun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Izotz in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Verónica FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Casimiro Domenec hit a great ball. Epifanio Olo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Eriberto Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Paulino Fortun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Pastor Valiente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Lohitzun in the 96th minute of play forced Verónica FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Olo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verónica FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
