After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Silvestre Lauaxeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Toli came out of the goal and Silvestre Lauaxeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Gerardo Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Bernabe Lamberto in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Boca Juniors's Eriberto Errando. After having played for 19 minutes, Omar Harriet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Harriet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Abad came free, but Isidro Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Teobaldo Ruy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Toli came out of the goal and Teobaldo Ruy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejandro Curcio scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Pere, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isidro Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Lauaxeta in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Gerardo Abad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidro Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Ruy in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Gerardo Abad reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isidro Toli. The goal made the score 2-1.
The wind increased when Silvestre Lauaxeta made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Otsoa to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Manuel Eguen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Boca Juniors's Isidro Toli didn't even have to move. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcial Pere, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Boca Juniors's Alejandro Curcio got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Silvestre Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes, Parque Norte's Silverio Vela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidro Toli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Parque Norte reached it.
