The Virreyes FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Virreyes FC's Teodosio Birjaio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Virreyes FC's Ramiro Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Maule in the 14th minute of play. Valentin Maule charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Maule the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Mijayi F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Maule to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Maule in the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Mijayi F.C.'s Aldo Franco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Fanuco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Virreyes FC played a much better game than Mijayi F.C. and deserved their victory. The Mijayi F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
