The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 27thth minute of the game Bartolo Galoer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mijayi F.C.'s Apolo Toribio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Toribio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zacarias Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Fabian Eder fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fassi AFC's protests and gave Fabian Eder a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mijayi F.C. booed when Fassi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Eder didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Fassi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Beliran came free, but Severiano Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Bartolo Galoer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fassi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Galoer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Toribio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Zacarias Selatse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Apolo Toribio. That made the score 1-0 in the 44 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Galoer in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Toribio saved Mijayi F.C. from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A nice corner shot did that Fabian Eder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Apolo Toribio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 54 minutes, Higinio Barea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mijayi F.C. and the Fassi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apolo Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Galoer in the 80th minute of the match. Zacarias Selatse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Apolo Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Galoer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Turi during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fassi AFC's Camilo Turi got a free kick in the 88th minute. Bartolo Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes of play, Fassi AFC's Zacarias Selatse made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apolo Toribio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Fassi AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
