Eugenio Theobald's late challenge caught a Altamira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Theobald helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Eugenio Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 23rd minute, but Daniel Clemencin got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Union de sunchales hanging dry this time. Union de sunchales's Daniel Clemencin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Union de sunchales from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Timoteo Rodriguez put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arsenio Sansone. After having played for 31 minutes, Robustiano Rumaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altamira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Rumaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Cornelio Tercero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Union de sunchales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altamira the free kick. After a rather tough play, Union de sunchales's Cornelio Tercero got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Daniel Clemencin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Rumaldo in the 34th minute. Arsenio Sansone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Rodriguez in the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Theobald in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsenio Sansone saved Altamira from getting behind. Timoteo Rodriguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timoteo Rodriguez made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ariel Sengrat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Clemencin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Timoteo Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Arsenio Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Union de sunchales fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Daniel Clemencin went to the wrong direction when Delmiro Cresencio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 83 minutes, Cirilo Nabar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altamira and the Union de sunchales players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Altamira getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cirilo Nabar hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match Benigno Abaurre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenio Sansone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Daniel Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Timoteo Rodriguez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cirilo Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
