Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Efrain Rexino started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Ostende's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Rexino came free, but Gaudencio Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Rexino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaudencio Feo having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Efrain Rexino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Carmencito's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Rexino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Feo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the El Carmencito defense, Santos Perfecto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Dolfo. The El Carmencito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Dolfo should have stopped the shot. Virgilio Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Pinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Ostende was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Pinto to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gaudencio Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Otoniel lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Efrain Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Gabon's late challenge caught a Ostende's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Gabon helped the player get up and apologised. Fabricio Clis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Austin's late challenge caught a Ostende's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Austin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Carmencito getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Flavio Austin hit a great ball. If Santos Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Iratze charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Iratze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes El Carmencito got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Iratze. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The wind increased when Santos Perfecto made the kick off in the second half. Virgilio Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Efrain Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in El Carmencito's zone, Santos Perfecto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Dolfo came out of the goal and Santos Perfecto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th match minute, El Carmencito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Iratze to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Efrain Rexino took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Gaudencio Feo to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th match minute, El Carmencito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Iratze to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Macerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeo Macerio struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Gaudencio Feo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Carmencito. Gaudencio Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Carmencito's Amadeo Macerio got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaudencio Feo was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Efrain Rexino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Efrain Rexino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. El Carmencito's Efrain Rexino got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ostende's Gaudencio Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Macerio in the 93rd minute of play.
