Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gaudencio Feo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Gipuzkoa's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Marciano Gipuzkoa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Gaudencio Feo 12 minutes into the match. Ostende's Gaudencio Feo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Ostende from getting a goal against them. Gaudencio Feo came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Azul y Oro Cris's Leopoldo Ibañez. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Ibañez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 29th minute, Bernardino Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaudencio Feo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Gipuzkoa in the 31st minute of the match. Azul y Oro Cris's Manfred Burman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tito Cuebas in the 34th minute of play. Adolfo Eneas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Santos Perfecto struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Manfred Burman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ostende. When Virgilio Pinto fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ostende's protests and gave Virgilio Pinto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Azul y Oro Cris booed when Ostende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes in the game, Marciano Gipuzkoa dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Azul y Oro Cris's Marciano Gipuzkoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaudencio Feo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Gipuzkoa to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Ostende's Santos Perfecto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfred Burman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valdemar Trancoso hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes of play, Azul y Oro Cris's Leopoldo Ibañez made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaudencio Feo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Marciano Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azul y Oro Cris's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Gipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Feo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leopoldo Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
