Alumni F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Pitin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Fanuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnaldo Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Agustin Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Alumni F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Dantae to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes, Olivia's Clodoveo Esquipula shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Agustin Astigar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olivia reached it. In the 23rd minute, Arnaldo Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Aznaro charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Aznaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Alumni F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes Alumni F.C got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Banegas. Victorino Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Agustin Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Astigar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Nikola's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When Arnaldo Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Olivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Calvino couldn't finish the play. Agustin Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Casimiro Fanuco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Stephen went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Stephen to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Alumni F.C's zone, Arnaldo Calvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Astigar came out of the goal and Arnaldo Calvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Arnaldo Calvino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alumni F.C's Agustin Astigar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Alumni F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 66th match minute, Olivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Loiola to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Calvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agustin Astigar. Alumni F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Calvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 73 played minutes Olivia got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Esquipula. In the 75th match minute, Olivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Roland to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Arnaldo Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustin Astigar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Mitxaut went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Alumni F.C booed when Olivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Esquipula didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alumni F.C's Sebastian Elequemedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Olivia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Calvino in the 92nd minute of play forced Alumni F.C's goalkeeper Agustin Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Astigar having to interfere. Agustin Astigar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Mitxaut in the 95th minute. Arnaldo Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over Olivia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alumni F.C throughout the match.
