Luisito Oton in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvio Theodore, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pascual Oliverio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Luisito Oton made a precise shot to the right of Silvio Theodore. Leeds United Bernal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 42 minutes of play, Leeds United Bernal's Reynaldo Quiroga made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pilar Birds FC's Luisito Oton got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Fabricio Osoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Pate took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raimundo Fernandes. Pilar Birds FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisito Oton to strike the kick off in the second half. Pilar Birds FC's Raimundo Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pilar Birds FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Leeds United Bernal getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alonzo Dantel hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Gianni Terribile in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pilar Birds FC's Benito Oriol. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Luisito Oton put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silvio Theodore. Nicanor Oskarbi took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Theodore. Silvio Theodore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 77 minutes of play, Pilar Birds FC's Hernan Orlondo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Theodore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabricio Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Pilar Birds FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Simon. The supporters of Pilar Birds FC booed when Leeds United Bernal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball.
