The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, La Rosa FC's Gaspar Matia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Florinio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as La Rosa FC's Jeronimo Toro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Florinio. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. Eduardo Florinio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Toro in the 59th minute of play. La Rosa FC's Celestino Eguntsenti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Rami in the 60th minute of play. Bernardo Satordi lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Moctezuma AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Rosa FC:s goal. Silvano Odol walked up to take care of the penalty kick. In the 73rd minute, one of Moctezuma AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Moctezuma AFC. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for La Rosa FC. Silvano Odol stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eduardo Florinio. 1-3. A collision led to La Rosa FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tomas Noe hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Toro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eduardo Florinio, 1-4. If Gaspar Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Jeronimo Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Rosa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
