The audience was convinced that Santiago Castel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venancio Ihazintu was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Humberto Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Arano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Etor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. A collision led to tano juniors getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ruben Jurdan hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, tano juniors's Saturnino Ermengol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Ihazintu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Saturnino Ermengol managed to get in a good position for a shot. tano juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Ermengol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Ihazintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. tano juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Carlos Erroman scored to the left of an out of position Wilfredo Arano, making the score, 2-0. When Tomas Etor fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria FC's protests and gave Tomas Etor a yellow card for diving instead. Venancio Ihazintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, tano juniors's Saturnino Ermengol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 72nd match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Erroman to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 76 minutes, Santiago Castel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tano juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Castel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Venancio Ihazintu got control of the ball when Santiago Castel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Castel got free with Venancio Ihazintu in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Saturnino Ermengol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Esteve Jerold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. tano juniors's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Candelaria FC had won, even though tano juniors had held more of the ball.
