A well-hit corner resulted in Sebastian Evarado heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Robles FC's Rogelio Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedicto Romo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Maties prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedicto Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Maties having to interfere. Christian Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Toli having to interfere. Jairo Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Romo in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Isaac Eutor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alter Ego's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Robles FC the free kick. In the 26th minute, Isaac Eutor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Maties having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Laurgain during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Robles FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fausto Laurgain hit a great ball. Benedicto Romo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jairo Maties didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Robles FC. 35 minutes into the match, Alter Ego's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Santana came free, but Jairo Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Mino made a kick off. Roman Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Palban in the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Alter Ego's Jairo Maties got control of the ball when Benedicto Romo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alter Ego's zone, Benedicto Romo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Maties came out of the goal and Benedicto Romo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 played minutes, Alter Ego's Laureano Gregory shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roman Toli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alter Ego reached it. In the 71st minute, Arnulfo Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alter Ego's Jairo Maties proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Alter Ego from getting a goal against them. Laureano Gregory made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Robles FC's Fausto Laurgain. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Santana got free with Jairo Maties in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benedicto Romo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Rogelio Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Robles FC's Benedicto Romo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jairo Maties. Jairo Maties yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When the match was over Robles FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alter Ego throughout the match.
