In the 7th minute, Hoy Fútbol Club's Saverio Rios dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 14 minutes, Ricardo Bermudez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoy Fútbol Club and the Bedshaped players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Hoy Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Laureano Tercero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Moreno's late challenge caught a Bedshaped's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Saverio Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoy Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Rios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Lico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Bedshaped getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Adolfo Gonchan hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laureano Tercero to make the kick off. Eugenio Llanos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 52nd playminute. Gaudencio Tuste kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Saverio Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Lico was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Eriberto Bernad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Lico having to interfere. Gaudencio Tuste kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Ceferino Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Rios in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Ricardo Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hoy Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Bermudez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Tuste could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Anibal Vincente made a huge save. There was no doubt that Hoy Fútbol Club were the better team. Hoy Fútbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
