Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cajon's Freddy Olando started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Freddy Olando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Bernad's late challenge caught a Cajon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Bernad helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cajon booed when Hoy Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Bernad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Olando struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Anibal Vincente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cajon. Jacobo Roldan came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Hoy Fútbol Club's Ricardo Bermudez. But to his dismay, Ricardo Bermudez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Saverio Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Roldan having to interfere. Jacobo Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Bernad in the 14th minute of play. Anibal Vincente came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Cajon's Marcelo Jerold. But to his dismay, Marcelo Jerold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Freddy Olando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Anibal Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Rios in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Saverio Rios notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cajon's Jacobo Roldan. Jacobo Roldan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacobo Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Bermudez in the 27th minute of the match. Jacobo Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cajon's Jacobo Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Bernad in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Hoy Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Bernad to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Vincente made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Freddy Olando sent off a good shot on target. After 40 played minutes Hoy Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Moreno. In the 42nd minute, Eriberto Bernad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hoy Fútbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After having played for 46 minutes, Saverio Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hoy Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saverio Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Pastor Natanael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hoy Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cajon the free kick. Jacobo Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Rios in the 61st minute of play. Anibal Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Olando in the 62nd minute of play. Cajon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Freddy Olando in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Ricardo Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cajon's goalie and right to Pastor Natanael. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cajon's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 72 minutes into the game, one of Cajon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 76 played minutes Hoy Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Eriz. 78 minutes into the match, Hoy Fútbol Club's Ricardo Bermudez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Roldan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Hoy Fútbol Club's Jacobo Roldan threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saverio Rios, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 80 played minutes Cajon got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Ascencio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Bermudez got free with Jacobo Roldan in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Hoy Fútbol Club booed when Cajon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Rameriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cajon's zone, Arnulfo Lartaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Roldan came out of the goal and Arnulfo Lartaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hoy Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alfredo Moreno hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Saverio Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hoy Fútbol Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
