The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Botello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Rolando Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrerillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Derwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Crucesita's goalkeeper Roman Gau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Derwin. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Clemente Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrerillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Veronica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Derwins short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Roman Gau to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 67th minute Rolando Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rolando Derwin came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Potrerillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Derwin couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Roberto Cortez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crucesita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrerillos the free kick. In the 71st minute, Roberto Cortez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Clemente Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Rolando Derwin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roman Gau quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Alonzo Cordarrol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roman Gau. That made the score 0-6 in the 84 minute of play. Roman Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Derwin in the 88th minute of the match. If Alonzo Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roman Gau was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Potrerillos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Crucesita.
