Clemente Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alsan Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Derwin in the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Potrerillos's Santo Neto got a free kick in the 10th minute. Alsan Koehler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Derwin in the 16th minute. If Honorio Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Aragones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Santio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Honorio Bras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Christian Enol fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Byron Bay City's protests and gave Christian Enol a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Byron Bay City's Christian Enol got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Alsan Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Santio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Bras's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Bras made a kick off. Edelmiro Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Santio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Derwin in the 57th minute of play forced Byron Bay City's goalkeeper Alsan Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Byron Bay City's Rafael Paez got a free kick in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Bras got free with Amadeo Santio in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Derwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Byron Bay City's Edelmiro Aragones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Santio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Enol kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Edelmiro Aragones hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A collision led to Byron Bay City getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Honorio Bras hit a great ball. Eugenio Oroitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although Potrerillos had been in control for most of the match, Byron Bay City still came away with the win.
