Despite this Lucio Liher quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luisito Paio scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Harlén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucio Liher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Nuxila, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Daniel Bernal put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Drink Team FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Bicicletería:s goal. Lucio Liher went to the wrong direction when Ramiro Oinatz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Elias Platon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 28th playminute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Luisito Paio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Bicicletería's Gunnar Harlén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gunnar Harlén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drink Team FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Cresenciano during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hernan Derwin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, one of La Bicicletería:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gaudencio Giro's late challenge caught a La Bicicletería's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaudencio Giro helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Drink Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Giro. Samuel Ikatz hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The La Bicicletería supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Drink Team FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Drink Team FC.
