If Jacinto Pasqual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Crosmayo defense, Alfredo Gabrio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Lorenz. The Crosmayo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Lorenz should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Crosmayo's Gustavo Quirce got a free kick in the 24th minute. Felix Lorenz made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Rogelio Palban sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Pasqual struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Felix Lorenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Beboneta. After a defensive mix-up in Crosmayo's zone, Alfredo Gabrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Lorenz came out of the goal and Alfredo Gabrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alfredo Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Cefero's late challenge caught a La Beboneta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
