A collision led to Capillas getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Marcial Pagomari hit a great ball. Ubaldo Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Capillas's Ubaldo Feo got control of the ball when Edelmiro Chinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Brea booed when Capillas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Donio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes Capillas got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Su. Freddy Donio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Jonathan Cordarryl suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Freddy Donio charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Donio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Edelmiro Chinto could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Ubaldo Feo however easily saved by the left post. Isaias Prejun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ubaldo Feo came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaias Prejun slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Frisco in the 33rd minute of play forced Capillas's goalkeeper Ubaldo Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Capillas's Ubaldo Feo got control of the ball when Jacinto Frisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Brea's Ubaldo Feo threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isaias Prejun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 41 minutes into the game, Isaias Prejun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ubaldo Feo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 94 minutes, Tiburcio Columbo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capillas and the Brea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiburcio Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Brea were the better team. Brea's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
