In the 5th minute, Horacio Efraim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celedonio Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Artaldo in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Trevor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Efraim came free, but Lorenzo Cisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Norberto Salamon could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Celedonio Fertus however easily saved by the left post. After 17 minutes of play, Soldados de roman's Horacio Efraim made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Cisco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norberto Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Trevor FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Rivero. Norberto Salamons short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Celedonio Fertus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Venancio Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Horacio Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soldados de roman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Efraim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venancio Artaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celedonio Fertus having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Artaldo in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Fertus saved Soldados de roman from getting behind. If Norberto Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiburcio Lia to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Venancio Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trevor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Artaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Trevor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Celedonio Fertus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Lopes in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Artaldo in the 62nd minute of play forced Soldados de roman's goalkeeper Celedonio Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Venancio Artaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Soldados de roman's Celedonio Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Artaldo in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Horacio Efraim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soldados de roman's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trevor FC the free kick. In the 69th minute, Horacio Efraim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Lia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lorenzo Cisco, 1-2. Tiburcio Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Ricart during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Soldados de roman booed when Trevor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Ricart didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tiburcio Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Horacio Efraim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Lorenzo Cisco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tiburcio Lia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lorenzo Cisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Soldados de roman booed when Trevor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Rivero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Soldados de roman's Adrian Marz tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Soldados de roman players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
