Bruno Bilintx charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Bilintx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Rotenbürgo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Puyel:s goal. After 16 minutes, Felix Erlantz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rotenbürgo and the Puyel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Puyel booed when Rotenbürgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Erlantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rotenbürgo's Felix Erlantz in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puyel's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Isaias Iraunkor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rotenbürgo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Iraunkor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Erlantz in the 24th minute of play forced Puyel's goalkeeper Gustavo Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rotenbürgo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Felix Erlantz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Iker Gonchan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puyel's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Gonchan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Poz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Puyel's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Lastur came free, but Gustavo Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Nemesio Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Silvestre Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Romeo Laurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Laurin in the 51st minute of play forced Rotenbürgo's goalkeeper Bonifacio Poz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Lastur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Urtzi having to make a save. Bonifacio Poz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Laurin in the 62nd minute of play. When Silvestre Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Rotenbürgo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Lastur couldn't finish the play. Puyel's attentive Ulises Frasco managed to snatch the ball when Cleto Orlanda made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. In the 81st minute of the game, Iker Gonchan landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Nemesio Checa fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puyel's protests and gave Nemesio Checa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Nemesio Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Transito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rotenbürgo's zone, Romeo Laurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Poz came out of the goal and Romeo Laurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Puyel were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rotenbürgo for a fine match.
