Fernan Mikelar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Montrell having to interfere. Lucio Paio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patricio Pancho having to make a save. 10 minutes into the match, Tolojna FC's goalkeeper Mateo Montrell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernan Mikelar. Patricio Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Fidele, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Lucio Paio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Racing Club's Patricio Pancho. Patricio Pancho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Tolojna FC's zone, Fernan Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Montrell came out of the goal and Fernan Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blas Garin kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Geronimo Leoiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mateo Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th of the match, Silvano Cristofol tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Mateo Montrell got in the way and made a wonderful save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
