Aurelio Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Montay having to interfere. Cristo Montay made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Aurelio Vergaray sent off a good shot on target. Braulio Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Tajo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Vergaray got free with Cristo Montay in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristo Montay came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Macapillo FC's Aurelio Vergaray. But to his dismay, Aurelio Vergaray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cristo Montay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Vergaray in the 34th minute. If Santos Iraunkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aurelio Vergaray came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Macapillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Vergaray couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bengolea AFC's Jorge Modestio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Aurelio Vergaray came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Macapillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Vergaray couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Calvino made a kick off. Cristo Montay came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Macapillo FC's Aurelio Vergaray. But to his dismay, Aurelio Vergaray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Bengolea AFC booed when Macapillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Elodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Cresconio in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Braulio Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Elodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Vergaray in the 77th minute of play forced Bengolea AFC's goalkeeper Cristo Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Timoteo Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
