Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celso Calvino took the kick off in the first half of the match. Niceto Montrelle was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Intersport FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A hard shot 8 in the game by Niceto Montrelle from a close distance when the talented Edgardo Elodio managed to make a qualified save. Macapillo FC's players were relieved. Rosendo Raulo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Vergaray in the 13th minute of play forced Intersport FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Bihar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Robustiano Pepillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macapillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Intersport FC the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Macapillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Pepillo to maneuver through the defense. Gogo Montae shot from long distance in the 16th minute, but Edgardo Elodio was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Edgardo Elodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Timo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Celso Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Aurelio Vergaray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Intersport FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Quirce to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Quirce hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Intersport FC's zone, Aurelio Vergaray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Bihar came out of the goal and Aurelio Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Lidon charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Lidon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Intersport FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Lidon. In the 41st minute of the match Bruno Sedeni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogelio Bihar skillfully saved the ball. In the 42nd minute, Celso Calvino made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Bihar. Intersport FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 47th minute Celso Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Bihar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelio Timo made a kick off. Aurelio Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Elodio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Timo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes Intersport FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Eudoxio. Macapillo FC's Bruno Sedeni got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgardo Elodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Timo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Celso Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Macapillo FC's zone, Cornelio Timo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Elodio came out of the goal and Cornelio Timo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Vergaray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Rogelio Bihar made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Intersport FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Bihar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Vergaray. Aurelio Vergaray blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogelio Bihar having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Calvino in the 74th minute of play forced Intersport FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Bihar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Joaquin Ler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Intersport FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macapillo FC the free kick. In the 75th minute, Joaquin Ler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Bihar having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Intersport FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! 80 minutes into the match, Bruno Sedeni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogelio Bihar. Intersport FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Sedeni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Aurelio Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Bihar was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Celso Calvino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celso Calvino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Macapillo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
