Manuel Gombal struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Lázaro Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S de Chivilcoy. Gaston Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Mattias Browall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Vela booed when S de Chivilcoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Merexildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, S de Chivilcoy's Lázaro Cordearo threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Octavio Beliran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 16 minutes, Cesar Orland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vela and the S de Chivilcoy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of S de Chivilcoy booed when Vela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Orland didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Generoso Palos sped through S de Chivilcoy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mattias Browall. Mattias Browall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Palos in the 24th minute of the match. Lázaro Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Beliran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of S de Chivilcoy booed when Vela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Octavio Beliran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vela's Lázaro Cordearo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, S de Chivilcoy's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Alonso came free, but Mattias Browall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Generoso Palos to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Vela's zone, Manuel Gombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Cordearo came out of the goal and Manuel Gombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Canor hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, S de Chivilcoy's Bonifacio Mannuel got a free kick in the 56th minute. Serafin Chuse kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Octavio Beliran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lázaro Cordearo skillfully saved the ball. Eduardo Sergi got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Octavio Beliran. After 70 played minutes S de Chivilcoy got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ali Ferhat. After having played for 74 minutes, Octavio Beliran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S de Chivilcoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Beliran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Arnaldo Silveira made a precise shot to the right of Lázaro Cordearo. Vela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Venancio Merexildo's late challenge caught a Vela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Merexildo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vela's Serafin Chuse got a free kick in the 89th minute. Octavio Beliran didn't quite understand what happened when in the 91 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.
