Mauro Quin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Lluc, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Bernardo Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Quin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Boca's Leopoldo Bernebe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justino Abeitia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Higinio Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Constantino Nesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Abeitia having to interfere. Higinio Dabis short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Mauro Quin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Dabi got free with Mauro Quin in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Bernebe to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Higinio Dabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eam FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Dabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Quin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 52nd play minutes Higinio Dabi shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Mauro Quin and just under the crossbar into goal. Cesar Ireno kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Boca's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Boca booed when Eam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Monte didn't get a good kick on the ball.
