Patricio Guillelmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Coronel Aguirre's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Ellande came free, but Tomás Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pulpera FC's Patricio Guillelmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Toli in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Pulpera FC booed when Coronel Aguirre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Primeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Loreto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Blas Toli made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Aureliano Artizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Guillelmus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tomás Guillelmus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Jurdan's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Hector Ellande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coronel Aguirre's Tomás Guillelmus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomás Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Manny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Coronel Aguirre getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Arnoldo Txomin hit a great ball. A collision led to Pulpera FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rodrigo Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Guillelmus having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Ellande in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Guillelmus saved Coronel Aguirre from getting behind. In the 90th minute Hector Ellande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arsenio Gergori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Patricio Guillelmo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Blas Toli in the 98thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.
