Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Augusto Flor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quelly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nueva chicago the free kick. A collision led to Quelly getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Augusto Flor hit a great ball. Sixto Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Ferdinand having to interfere. Sixto Giraldo scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimeno Ferdinand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Mon in the 23rd minute of play. Jimeno Ferdinand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Hanot's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Jimeno Ferdinand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Beltran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clodoveo Mon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. Filomeno Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Beltran having to interfere. Quelly's Jimeno Ferdinand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Giraldo in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Zacarias Hanot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Mitxaut in the 41st minute of play forced Quelly's goalkeeper Jimeno Ferdinand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Osvaldo Mitxaut came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Nueva chicago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Mitxaut couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Giraldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Beltran having to interfere. Quelly's Clodoveo Mon got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Diego Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Mon in the 75th minute of play. Quelly's Jimeno Ferdinand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Quelly from getting a goal against them. Clodoveo Mon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Beltran having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Nabar in the 82nd minute of play forced Nueva chicago's goalkeeper Diego Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Ferdinand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Umea in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Nueva chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Mon came free, but Diego Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Mitxaut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nueva chicago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quelly the free kick. Osvaldo Mitxaut hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Filomeno Nabar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quelly's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Nabar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Beltran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldo Montrel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diego Beltran. Nueva chicago's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jimeno Ferdinand didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. The Nueva chicago players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
