Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florencio Tartalo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Chacarita FC booed when Nueva chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Higinio Guter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Beltran. Nueva chicago's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Guter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 10 minutes, Igor Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Umea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernan Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chacarita FC's Eriberto Suarez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ramon Gaxan in the 19 minute of the game. Osvaldo Mitxaut hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Cesar Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Nardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Beltran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Chacarita FC's Hernan Dorio got control of the ball when Igor Umea tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Florencio Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Sixto Giraldo rounded Chacarita FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 40th minute, Sixto Giraldo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hernan Dorio. The goal made the score 2-1. Sixto Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Giraldo made a kick off. Hernan Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Sixto Giraldo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Nueva chicago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Giraldo couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Igor Umea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Dorio. Florencio Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Beltran having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Giraldo in the 61st minute of play forced Chacarita FC's goalkeeper Hernan Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Chacarita FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Obeko. When Cesar Nardo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Chacarita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Nardo couldn't finish the play. After 71 minutes of play, Chacarita FC's Florencio Tartalo made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Beltran was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Chacarita FC booed when Nueva chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Nueva chicago defense, Higinio Guter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Beltran. The Nueva chicago fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Beltran should have stopped the shot. Hernan Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The Nueva chicago fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Nueva chicago's Igor Umea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Higinio Guter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hernan Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, Chacarita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Obeko to maneuver through the defense. Chacarita FC's Hernan Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Umea in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nueva chicago fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chacarita FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
