Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Melquiades Maiorga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Saul Ixaka came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the La Gestión fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Ixaka couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Martin Ieltxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Ixaka during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saul Ixaka hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Rafael Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Saul Ixaka reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celso Garin. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 18th minute, Saul Ixaka fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Celso Garin, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Maiorga in the 23rd minute of play forced La Gestión's goalkeeper Jacinto Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Matxin might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Garin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Matxin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Saul Ixaka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes Colón de Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Maiorga. After some careless play in the Colón de Santa Fe defense, Saul Ixaka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Garin. The Colón de Santa Fe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Garin should have stopped the shot. Saul Ixaka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Ladislao Cordarrol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Ixaka to make the kick off. The supporters of Colón de Santa Fe booed when La Gestión was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 minutes, Silvio Belmiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colón de Santa Fe and the La Gestión players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Colón de Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Mateus to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Saul Ixaka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Garin was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Saul Ixaka made a precise shot to the right of Celso Garin. Colón de Santa Fe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. La Gestión's Urbano Sotil was substituted for Marco Enol. 73 minutes into the match, Saul Ixaka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Garin. Colón de Santa Fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Ixaka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 78th minute, Reynaldo Matxin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Garin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 88th minute, Saul Ixaka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colón de Santa Fe's Celso Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Ixaka in the 96th minute of play. La Gestión were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Colón de Santa Fe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Ekhi took the corner. There was no doubt that La Gestión were the better team. La Gestión's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
